Santa Clara, CA. – July 16, 2004 – MEDCONX has announced the introduction of a Smart Connector™ system that is seamlessly integrated into cabling used to link minimally invasive surgical and diagnostic equipment generators to surgical hand pieces, patient electrodes and transducers.
“Our Smart Block™ technology solves the costly problem of terminating fine wires by drawing upon our expertise in PC board and IC placement techniques. This now makes it possible for us to imbed value-added intelligence and micro-scale systems into the connector plugs of cables, as well as also more effectively control EMC, EMI and RFI,” said Michael Viguerie, President and CEO of MEDCONX, a Silicon Valley based leader in connector interfaces for the medical industry.
